Suki Waterhouse's "Melrose Meltdown" Inducing Experience

Last month, I, DJ Starmix, traveled to Charlotte, NC for a Suki Waterhouse concert at the AMP Ballantyne. Despite only knowing two of her songs, and not knowing either of the opening artists, I had a very memorable night. Keep reading to see pictures and videos from the night!

First up was Danielle Durack, an indie pop musician. She played a couple of songs, all with a definite sad girl energy, reminding me of Phoebe Bridgers.

Next up was Carol Ades and her girlfriend, who was playing guitar. They gave a more pop rock feel, bringing a bit more energy to the crowd.

Finally, it was time for Suki. She came on stage with a very sparkly silver jumpsuit, fur coat, and knee-high white boots, dazzling the audience. She played hits such as Good Looking, Johana, and Melrose Meltdown. Everyone was screaming and cheering, and the night was definitely one to remember.

I got some quotes from some of the other attendees. Josh Evans, a freshman at USC, said, “Suki Waterhouse’s concert was the most life changing experience of my entire life… If you ever get the chance to see her live, please tell her that her lover, Josh Evans, misses her.” A die-hard fan for sure. Brice Odom, also a freshman at USC, said, “It was fire. I wish she was on the stage for longer, but the set list was perf. And her outfit was dazzling.” Overall raving reviews from the audience. Suki definitely knows how to impress a crowd.
